It's been a long journey since Sheridan College for Animation in 2001.  Taking a long winding path through 2D animation, stop-motion animation, storyboarding, I eventually transitioned into live action in 2006 as a concept artist.  It was a gruelling early lesson in learning the importance of collaboration between set designers, costume departments, set decoration, graphics, camera, lighting, construction and VFX, and it all contributed to my growth as an artist.
Since then, my last 8 years I have been involved with numerous presentations for studios; working with directors, screenwriters, producers and production designers to achieve either early story development, design presentations or gain the green light for production pipelines.
I've been fortunate to work with some of the most talented, hardworking and diverse artists, designers, directors and storytellers in the industry, and I often enjoy trying new fields.  Recently I've had the opportunity to dabble in various fields such as theatre, architecture, video games, and music video presentations.  As a mentor for Women in Animation and Rise Up Animation for the past three years, I've learned you have as much to learn from the next generation as veterans in any field.
In the future, my hope is to continue expanding my repertoire into other types of storytelling, even as technology continues to evolve.
